We all know the phrase “it takes a village” well in our bones. As parents, we feel the difference a village makes on our nervous systems, our children, our experience of parenting.
At the same time, “the village” can feel like this foreign thing that belongs to a different culture or time.
Maybe we sense fragments of it from our own childhoods; maybe we experience pieces of it here and there. The truth is, we’ve been severed from the village for a while. In some ways we are creating what we want to see while being under-resourced and burnt the f*** out.

Hi, I’m Emily. I’m a mother, a revillager, and a coach who supports families in weaving the village back into their lives.
Even if someone has a desire to bring the village back, parenting within our current cultural paradigm is draining and anything that feels like an extracurricular usually doesn’t make the brain budget cut.
This is why my role feels so critical: parents often need someone to hold the mental load with them. Someone who can provide a space for clarity to form; to ask the questions so you can define what you really want to see; the kind of culture your village would hold; the purpose and contributions you want to make; the ways in which your village will support you and your children and all that you care about.

Revillaging is a sacred creative process. It calls for the fine-tuning what you desire; tending to the parts of you that have given up on relationship & community; practicing who you want to be; identifying other village members and learning together.
Revillaging can feel vulnerable, messy and full of “mistakes” — but like any transformative process, it’s this very path that can initiate us from one reality to the next.
I believe we have all that we need within us to bring the village back into our lived reality.
I also believe we will need to lean on one another, especially if we are feeling stretched to our max.
Revillaging doesn’t have to feel like work — it can be playful, experimental, pleasurable, and nourishing.
This is one of my foundational commitments when working with families on their revillaging path: let’s find the pieces to the puzzle that can actually nourish you in the process, rather than depleting you or taking up another spot on the “to do” list.
ARE YOU READY TO REVILLAGE?

You don’t have to do this alone.
As a first step, book a discovery call with me here; I’d love to hear about where you are in your current revillaging journey and how I might be able to support your wildest village dreams.
Whether you are:
About to step into parenthood or have been a parent for a while..
Longing for the return of the village but aren’t sure how to get there
Have played with some re-villaging ideas but feel stuck, frustrated, discouraged
Have a clear vision for what you want your village to look like but need help in executing
Have NO IDEA what they want your village to look & feel like but want to get clear
Could use the time intentionally carved out with a coach, strategist & fellow re-villager to do any of the above
There is a way to get the support you are looking for.
